Refund Policy

Cashflow Evaluator — a product of Optywise Business Solutions LLP

Effective Date: 9 July 2026 · Last Updated: 9 July 2026

1. Applicability

This Refund Policy applies to all paid subscription plans purchased for the Cashflow Evaluator platform ("Service") offered by Optywise Business Solutions LLP ("Optywise"). By subscribing to a paid plan, you agree to this Policy in addition to our Terms of Service.

2. Free Trial

2.1 Where offered, a free trial allows access to designated features for a limited period (30 days) without charge.

2.2 No payment is collected during the free trial unless you affirmatively select a paid plan. If auto-conversion applies, we will notify you before the trial ends and before any charge is made.

3. Subscription Billing

3.1 Paid plans are billed in advance on a monthly or annual basis (as selected by you) via our third-party payment gateway.

3.2 Subscriptions renew automatically at the end of each billing cycle unless cancelled prior to the renewal date, as described in Clause 6.

4. Refund Eligibility

4.1 New Subscribers: If subscribing for the first time, you may request a full refund within 7 calendar days of your initial payment, provided your usage remains within reasonable limits (Clause 5).

4.2 Renewals: Refunds are generally not available for automatic renewal charges once processed; however, you may cancel to prevent future renewals (Clause 6). At our discretion, we may consider a pro-rata refund if a renewal charge is reported within 3 business days and no material use of the renewed period has occurred.

4.3 Upgrades/Downgrades: Plan changes take effect as described at the time of change; any applicable proration is reflected in your next invoice rather than as a cash refund, unless otherwise stated.

5. Circumstances Where Refunds Will Not Be Granted

Refunds will not ordinarily be granted where: (a) you have uploaded and processed bank statements or generated reports beyond a reasonable evaluation threshold of 10 statements; (b) the request is made after the eligibility window in Clause 4; (c) the account was suspended or terminated for breach of our Terms of Service; (d) the plan was purchased under a non-refundable promotional or discounted offer, as specified at the time of purchase; or (e) the request relates to dissatisfaction with parsing/categorisation accuracy addressed by the disclaimers in our Privacy Policy and Data Security Policy — automated-output accuracy is not itself a defect entitling a refund, though we encourage you to report such issues for investigation and, at our discretion, goodwill resolution.

6. Cancellation

6.1 You may cancel your subscription at any time through your account settings or by writing to consulting@optywise.com.

6.2 Cancellation stops future renewal charges but does not, by itself, entitle you to a refund of the current billing cycle; you retain access to the Service until the end of the then-current paid period, unless a refund is separately approved under Clause 4.

7. How to Request a Refund

Send a request to consulting@optywise.com with your registered email, invoice/transaction ID, and reason for the request. We will acknowledge within 3 business days and, where approved, process the refund to the original payment method within 7–10 business days, subject to the payment gateway's/bank's processing timelines, which are outside our control.

8. Failed or Duplicate Transactions

If you are charged in error, or charged more than once for the same billing cycle due to a technical or payment-gateway issue, notify us promptly at consulting@optywise.com; we will investigate and refund any confirmed duplicate or erroneous charge.

9. Chargebacks

Before initiating a chargeback with your bank or card issuer, please contact us so we can attempt to resolve the issue directly. Optywise reserves the right to suspend or terminate access to the Service for accounts that initiate a chargeback without prior communication, and to contest chargebacks it considers unwarranted, without prejudice to other remedies available under law.

10. Service Availability and Force Majeure

Refunds are not owed for temporary unavailability of the Service caused by scheduled maintenance, third-party infrastructure/hosting outages, internet disruptions, or other events beyond Optywise's reasonable control. At its discretion, Optywise may (but is not obliged to) offer service credits for extended, confirmed outages attributable to Optywise.

11. Taxes

All fees are exclusive of applicable taxes (including GST), which will be charged additionally as required by law and are non-refundable except where the underlying fee is refunded.

12. Changes to this Policy

We may revise this Refund Policy from time to time; the version in effect at the time of your purchase governs that transaction, and material changes will be communicated as described in our Privacy Policy.

13. Governing Law and Jurisdiction

This Policy is governed by the laws of India, and courts at Pune, Maharashtra shall have exclusive jurisdiction.
